Persona 4 Revival Debuts at Xbox Showcase

After months of mounting speculation, Atlus has officially unveiled Persona 4 Revival – a highly anticipated remake coming to Xbox, PS5, and PC with day-one Game Pass availability.

The brief reveal trailer showcased visually enhanced environments that appear significantly upgraded from the original 2008 release.

P-Studio director Kazuhisa Wada shared these comments following the announcement:

We're thrilled to finally announce Persona 4 Revival. This special title holds a deeply personal place in my heart after inspiring numerous spin-offs including anime series, fighting games, and rhythm titles.

Our team is pouring passion into this project to create something fresh yet familiar - an experience that will delight both newcomers and veteran fans alike.

We're also actively planning the future of the Persona series, working diligently to meet global fan expectations. More exciting updates will follow.

Recent domain registrations and voice actor statements had fueled rampant speculation about the remake. Notably, several original cast members confirmed they wouldn't be reprising their roles.

IGN originally awarded Persona 4 a 9/10, praising its enhanced dungeon crawling and social systems. While Persona 4 Golden remains the definitive version on modern platforms, fans continue requesting a Nintendo Switch port.
