Pokémon TCG Pocket's Blastoise Wonder Pick event continues with a second phase, introducing fresh cosmetic items to the in-game shop. This update includes a new Blastoise icon, coin, card sleeves, and a striking blue Blastoise playmat.

The event shop, offering these new cosmetics alongside the standard Shinedust exchange, will remain open until January 28th. However, players should note that event tickets cease being awarded on January 22nd. Therefore, diligent daily logins are crucial for those aiming to acquire all the event goodies before the deadline.

Following a hectic holiday period of generous login bonuses, the current event provides a welcome addition for players. Many have already completed the Mythical Island booster pack collection and eagerly anticipate the next expansion, rumored for a late January release. The confirmation that Pack Hourglasses will be usable in future expansions has prompted many to stockpile them.

This Blastoise-themed update offers a compelling reason for daily engagement. The event shop allows players to exchange surplus event tickets for up to 1,000 Shinedust (50 Shinedust per ticket).

Blastoise Wonder Pick Event: A Recap

The event, which commenced on January 6th, initially featured two new promo cards: Squirtle and Charmander. While gameplay mechanics remain consistent with their standard counterparts, these promo cards boast unique artwork. Previously released rewards, including a Blue and Blastoise backdrop and cover, are still available.

New missions, rewarding players with Event Shop Tickets, have been introduced. These missions involve participating in Wonder Picks and collecting Fire and Water-type cards. Importantly, missions from both event parts are cumulative, allowing players to progress simultaneously. The Bonus Pick also provides Event Shop Tickets, simplifying the acquisition of shop items. Daily logins are strongly recommended, especially considering the rumored inability to trade these limited-edition promo cards.
