Electronic Arts recently hosted a livestream event to build anticipation for The Sims franchise's 25th anniversary. The event showcased the exciting free gifts and in-game events planned for The Sims 4 players.
The festivities have already begun with a new update. This update addresses several bugs, boasts a revamped main menu, and includes performance improvements. Several classic houses in Willow Creek and Oasis Springs have also received a makeover. These updated houses are available immediately in new games, and existing saves can access them via the in-game library.

The main anniversary celebration commences February 4th. A significant update will introduce over 70 brand-new, free items! Simultaneously, a new in-game event, "Blast from the Past," will launch. Players can unlock retro-themed items and collect a new set by completing simple challenges.
Furthermore, a new season called "Motherlode" will debut in The Sims 4 on February 6th. Details regarding the "Motherlode" season's content remain undisclosed for now.
