The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti graphics card made its debut on April 16 as the most affordable Blackwell GPU available. However, it quickly became evident that it was another "paper" launch, with actual retail units scarce and only available at a significant markup. The good news is that if you're in the market for a complete prebuilt gaming PC featuring this new GPU, your options are much more promising. Not only are there numerous prebuilt gaming PCs readily available, but they are also reasonably priced. The two most budget-friendly options we've come across are both Skytech models listed on Amazon, starting at an impressive $1,249.99. This price point represents excellent value for a current-generation gaming rig capable of handling 1080p and 1440p resolutions.

The RTX 5060 Ti serves as the successor to the RTX 4060 Ti and offers a notable 15%-20% performance boost in gaming. This generational improvement is even more significant than that of the RTX 5070 over the RTX 4070. From a value standpoint, the RTX 5060 Ti stands out as the best Blackwell card for 1080p gaming, while also being fully capable of delivering solid performance at 1440p, particularly when DLSS 4 is enabled. Although the RTX 5070 is more powerful, prebuilt systems featuring it start at a much higher price range of $1,700 to $1,800. For gamers targeting 1440p or lower resolutions, the additional cost of the RTX 5070 is difficult to justify.
GeForce RTX 5060 Ti Review by James Archer (Rock Paper Shotgun)
"The RTX 5060 Ti upholds the tradition of the XX60 Ti series, offering smooth and relatively budget-friendly performance at 1440p. When compared to the more expensive RTX 5070, it demonstrates a greater effort to push forward native-resolution, pre-DLSS frame rates from the previous 40 series.
We can confidently say that the RTX 5060 Ti is one of the more successful RTX 50 graphics cards and the go-to choice for budget-conscious gamers looking to enjoy 1440p gaming."
