Spin Rhythm XD Joins Crunchyroll Game Vault on Mobile

You've probably heard of developer Super Spin Digital, the team behind hit games like Fruit Ninja, Jetpack Joyride, and Steppy Pants. Among their successful titles is the rhythm game Spin Rhythm, whose popularity paved the way for its sequel, Spin Rhythm XD, released on PC and consoles in 2024. Now, they're finally bringing Spin Rhythm XD to mobile through Crunchyroll.

Technically, this isn’t the rhythm game series' debut on mobile platforms. The original Spin Rhythm was previously available on Android and iOS, published by Habby. However, in late 2023, the game disappeared from app stores after their publishing agreement with Habby concluded.

To deliver its intergalactic rhythm battles to Android users, Spin Rhythm XD has partnered with Crunchyroll. The developers are targeting a Q4 2025 release. The game will join the Crunchyroll Game Vault and be exclusively available to Crunchyroll Mega and Ultimate Fan subscribers.

In the meantime, the development team is rolling out a major content update for the game. On November 11th, the Indie Pack DLC arrives on Steam, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 5|4. This pack introduces seven brand-new tracks from indie artists such as Mei Semones, Hachiku, and Blanco Tranco.

Are you excited for Spin Rhythm XD's mobile launch via Crunchyroll?

Spin Rhythm XD features analog-inspired spinning, flicking, and tapping mechanics synchronized with vibrant EDM tracks. The game boasts a library of over 70 playable songs, featuring artists ranging from EDM acts like Camellia, Anamanaguchi, and Moe Shop to electronic music talents such as Nitro Fun, Au5, Hyper Potions, and Pegboard Nerds.

Players can choose from five difficulty levels: Easy, Normal, Hard, Expert, and XD mode. The game offers extensive customization and accessibility options, allowing you to unlock different wheel and UI skins, adjust track speed, modify visual effects, and even create or edit your own levels.

While waiting for the Android release, you can explore the game's features on Steam or visit the official website.
