What's in store for players? Starting January 3rd, a new map inspired by the Season 2 mini-game "Mingle" will launch. Three new playable characters – Geum-Ja, Yong-Sik, and rapper Thanos – will also debut throughout January.

Geum-Ja and Thanos will have special in-game events on January 3rd and 9th respectively, allowing players to unlock them. And here's the best part: watching Squid Game Season 2 episodes earns you in-game Cash and Wild Tokens! Watching up to seven episodes unlocks the Binni Binge-Watcher outfit!

Here's the January content calendar for Squid Game: Unleashed:

• January 3rd: The Mingle map and Geum-Ja arrive. The Dalgona Mash Up Collection Event (until January 9th) challenges players to complete Mingle-inspired mini-games and collect Dalgona tins.
• January 9th: Thanos joins the game with his own recruitment event, "Thanos’ Red Light Challenge." Eliminate players with knives to unlock him (event runs until January 14th).
• January 16th: Yong-Sik, the final new character in this wave, makes his appearance.
