⚫︎ SHIFT UP, the creators of Stellar Blade, have teamed up with JND Studios to launch pre-orders for hyper-realistic 1/3 scale figures of EVE and Tachy. The Dual version, which retails at $3,599, was snapped up in minutes, while the individual EVE figure, priced at $2,199, still has limited stock available. These stunning statues are set to hit the market in Q3 2026.

⚫︎ JND Studios is set to bring fans ultra-realistic figures of Stellar Blade's protagonist Eve and the formidable eighth boss Tachy. This collaboration with Shift-Up was initially announced in July 2024, and JND confirmed the chosen characters on April 8, 2025. Look out for these collectibles later this year.

⚫︎ In the recent State of Play, Shift Up revealed that Stellar Blade will be making its way to PC in June 2025. Alongside this, the studio confirmed the release of the Goddess of Victory: Nikke DLC in the same month, which will introduce a new boss battle, collectible dolls and stickers, and a fresh outfit.

⚫︎ Kicking off the new year, Shift Up Studio generously rewarded each employee with a PlayStation 5 Pro and a collective bonus of ¥1,000,000 (about $32,000). This gesture comes after the successful launch of Stellar Blade on PS5 in 2023, which not only garnered positive reviews and robust sales but also earned multiple nominations at The Game Awards.

⚫︎ Stellar Blade's Eve has clinched the title for Best New Character at the PlayStation Blog's Game of the Year 2024 Awards. Eve triumphed over competitors like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s Jane Harrow, Dragon Age: The Veilguard’s Emmrich Volkarin, and Rise of the Rōnin’s Ryoma Sakamoto. Other notable mentions included Metaphor: ReFantazio’s Strohl, Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail’s Wuk Lamat, and Helldivers 2’s General Brasch.

⚫︎ Stellar Blade is rolling out a festive holiday event in Xion on December 17, 2024. The city square and The Last Gulp will be decked out with holiday cheer, featuring twinkling lights, a vibrant Christmas tree, and seasonal decorations. The in-game ambience will be enhanced with new BGM tracks “Dawn (Winter)” and “Take Me Away,” perfect for unwinding after intense battles. A holiday-themed mini-game will also make its debut, offering fun and rewards.

November 26

⚫︎ Shift Up has released a patch to fix issues that surfaced with the Stellar Blade x Nier Automata update. This free update, which included Nier Automata-themed cosmetics and a new Photo Mode, was a hit, particularly for Eve’s 2B outfits. However, it also led to crashes and missing outfits. The recent hotfix enhances Photo Mode stability and restores any missing Nier Automata outfits, ensuring a seamless experience for players.

⚫︎ On November 11, 2024, Shift Up Studio's technical director Donki Lee announced significant updates for Stellar Blade. A free update (version 1.009.001) introduced four new outfits, one accessory available through an in-game ending, expanded lip-sync support, and a new photo mode. Additionally, the first paid DLC, a crossover with NieR: Automata, was confirmed. This collaboration between Directors Kim Hyung Tae and Yoko Taro celebrates the influence of Automata on Stellar Blade.

⚫︎ Despite high hopes, Stellar Blade didn't make the cut for Game of the Year at The Game Awards, sparking discussions on social media, especially given the inclusion of Elden Ring's DLC in the nominations.
