DC Studios has unveiled a thrilling new trailer for the upcoming Superman movie, directed by James Gunn and set to premiere on July 11, 2025. This three-minute glimpse offers fans an exciting look at the extensive cast of superheroes and villains that will feature in the film.

The trailer showcases Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner / Green Lantern effortlessly dispatching foes, Isabela Merced as the fierce Hawkgirl, and a detailed view of María Gabriela de Faría's portrayal of The Engineer. A key moment in the trailer reveals The Engineer's destructive encounter with the robots in Superman's Fortress of Solitude, including the beloved robot, Kelex. We also see the loyal Krypto the Superdog courageously engaging The Engineer in battle, demonstrating his readiness to tackle any threat.

Additional footage features Nicholas Hoult as the iconic Lex Luthor and introduces Ultraman to the fray. The trailer also provides more screen time for Edi Gathegi's Mister Terrific and Anthony Carrigan's Rex Mason / Metamorpho. The newly introduced Hammer of Boravia, hinted at in a previous teaser, makes a striking appearance, believed to be Ultraman in disguise, a character crafted by Gunn specifically for this movie.

The trailer delves into the dynamic relationship between Clark Kent and Lois Lane, highlighting a significant interview where Lois challenges Superman on his controversial decision to intervene in a war abroad. The heated exchange centers on Superman's assertion that his actions were driven purely by a desire to do good, independent of any national allegiance. This moral debate escalates as the Hammer of Boravia retaliates against Superman's involvement by attacking Downtown Metropolis.

In a compelling scene, a member of the public aids Superman out of a hole during the battle with the Hammer of Boravia, offering a stark contrast to other scenes where the public expresses hostility towards him, throwing objects and screaming in fear. This dichotomy underscores the complex public perception of Superman in the film.
