Terminator 2D: No Fate — the upcoming retro-style game merging iconic moments from Terminator 2: Judgment Day with fresh storylines and branching endings — faces another delay, now scheduled for November 26, 2025.

Even Skynet isn't exempt from supply chain issues. Publisher Reef Entertainment announced the postponement in a blog update, citing "ongoing global trade adjustments impacting shipments of special edition components" as the reason for shifting from its original October 31 launch window.

"To ensure simultaneous worldwide availability across all platforms and editions, we're implementing this revised date for both digital and physical releases," Reef stated. "We sincerely appreciate your continued support and apologize for this setback. Our team remains dedicated to delivering an experience that justifies the wait when Terminator 2D: No Fate arrives this November."

The game casts players as Sarah Connor and the T-800 in a desperate mission to thwart Skynet's genocidal agenda. Coming to Steam (PC), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and previous-generation consoles, its release was initially planned for September 5 before receiving an earlier postponement to late October.

IGN previously revealed how Bitmap Bureau studio tracked down the original 1991 actor portraying future-war John Connor for authentic character modeling, along with explaining why Arnold Schwarzenegger's likeness doesn't appear.

(Terminator 2D: No Fate expands the film's apocalyptic future war sequence into playable chapters, putting players directly in John Connor's boots during humanity's last stand against the machines.)
