TownsFolk Unveils Major Update: New Mechanics, Structures, and Compendium Added

Short Circuit Studio has recently unveiled an exciting new update for their newly launched settlement builder, TownsFolk. Titled "Shadows and Fortune," this update introduces a darker tone to the already charming pixel-art adventure, bringing a wealth of new mechanics to explore.

Even though TownsFolk is fresh on the scene, the developers are not holding back on enriching the game's depth. The latest update introduces new buildings and challenges that promise to invigorate your gameplay experience. One notable addition is the roaming Barbarians, which will add an element of tension to your campaign missions and Skirmish mode. To help you navigate through these new elements, a handy Compendium acts as an in-game encyclopedia, keeping track of all the new additions. The Exploration System has been revamped, and you can now adjust Campaign Difficulties between Frontier and Survival modes to tailor your experience.
