Schedule 1 remains a top-selling game on Steam, bolstered by its regular updates. On May 1, TVGS solo developer Tyler took to Twitter (X) to offer fans a sneak peek at the next update. The shared images showcase a new building marked "Stash and Dash," a Jukebox that could potentially allow players to customize the game's soundtrack, and an intriguing empty corridor.
While an official release date hasn't been announced, the update is set to enter an open beta soon. To participate, fans need to adjust their Steam settings for Schedule 1 and opt into the beta branch. Last week, Tyler embarked on his first developer livestream on Twitch, providing fans with insights into his vision for Schedule 1's future. During the stream, he showcased 3D models and shared his plans for a map expansion. Tyler envisions adding a "swampy, slummy area" and expanding the upscale side of the town with more cliffside houses. Following these, his focus will shift to developing an island across the main area.
While these expansions sound thrilling and would undoubtedly enhance the game, they might take longer to materialize given Tyler's solo developer status. Nonetheless, the community's excitement for these upcoming features remains high.
