Where Winds Meet PS5 Exclusive for 6 Months

Where Winds Meet, the highly anticipated open-world Wuxia action RPG by Everstone Studios, will be a PlayStation 5 console exclusive for a minimum of six months.

This exclusivity was confirmed through a new video on PlayStation's YouTube channel (the multiplatform trailer appears below). Alongside glimpses of the game's narrative, the teaser's closing reveal highlighted the six-month PS5 console exclusivity window. The game will also launch on mobile and PC platforms.

Regarding the release date? Currently we only have a broad "2025" window, though NetEase has announced a final beta test starting July 25 for PC and PS5. This test introduces the new urban area of Kaifeng, previously unavailable. Interested players can register via the official sign-up page. While no pre-order bonuses have been revealed, wishlisting is now available.

Where Winds Meet initially launched on PC in China in late 2024 before its mobile adaptation in 2025. Set during the turbulent Ten Kingdoms Era, players assume the role of a swordsman whose decisions shape the dynastic conflict. The game draws heavily from Wuxia traditions, featuring martial artists with extraordinary abilities.

Sony aims to replicate the phenomenal success of Black Myth Wukong, which debuted on PS5 and PC before its upcoming Xbox Series X|S release this August.
