Wuthering Waves Drops Version 2.3 Alongside Its First Anniversary Events

The highly anticipated Version 2.3 update for *Wuthering Waves*, titled "Fiery Arpeggio of Summer," has just been released, coinciding with the game's first anniversary and its exciting launch on Steam, making it now available on PC. This update is packed with new content and will be rolled out in four phases from April 29th to June 12th, 2025.

New Content in Wuthering Waves Version 2.3

Version 2.3 introduces a host of new characters, story arcs, and event content to keep players engaged for the next month or so. If your Union Level is up to par, you're in for a treat. The new storylines, "A Blaze in the Dark" and "Your Summer Will Never Wither," are sure to captivate you, along with the fresh wave of Phantom Echoes like Crownless (including its Nightmare version), Nimbus Wraith, and the sneaky Chest Mimic.

To celebrate the game's first anniversary, a series of login events are being introduced. The "Gifts of Grand Celebration" event, running from May 23rd to June 11th, rewards players with Radiant Tides and a Moment of Resonance, provided they are at Union Level 8. Additionally, "Gifts of Grand Reunion" (April 29th to June 11th) and "Gifts of Melodic Verses" (June 5th to June 19th) offer Radiant Tide, Lustrous Tide, Astrite, Modifiers, and various upgrade materials.

New and Returning Minigames

The beloved minigame Cubie Derby makes a comeback, serving both as a warm-up leisure event and a spectator event where you can cheer for your favorite Cubes. By rolling dice, moving your Cube on a board, and collecting rewards like Phantom: Chest Mimic and Flight Aspect: Laureate, the fun is endless.

In the first phase of the update, players can pull for new Resonators such as Lumi, Taoqi, and Yuanwu, as well as weapons like Dauntless Evernight, Overture, and Hollow Mirage. This phase lasts until June 11th.
