Wuthering Waves Debuts Unfading Melody Update

Kuro Games has launched the "Unfading Melody of Life" update for Wuthering Waves, introducing an expanded narrative, fresh playable characters, and additional explorable zones. The central storyline progresses with Chapter II Act VII: "Dreamcatchers in the Secret Gardens," alongside the Overture quest "Rust, Sword and the Sun."

Expanding the post-apocalyptic sci-fi RPG universe

Players can now venture into the newly accessible Fabricatorium of the Deep area, uncovering hidden lore while navigating its atmospheric, enigmatic landscapes.

The update introduces Phrolova as a formidable 5-Star Havoc Resonator. As the enigmatic Overseer of Fractsidus, she commands attention with her theatrical presence – complete with musical motifs, distinctive eye bandages, and the ability to summon Hecate from an ornate throne.

Phrolova accumulates Volatile Notes to activate her Resonance Liberation ability. Upon entering the Maestro state, she becomes invulnerable while Hecate assumes combat duties. Her debut coincides with the upcoming Phase I and Phase II Resonator Convenes: "Requiem Without End," "Stage in the Box," "Neptune's Lullaby," and "Blaze Across the Deep."

Roccia also returns in the "Stage in the Box" Convene as a 5-Star Havoc Resonator. The Fool's Troupe First Mate appears alongside her stage partner Pero during this update cycle.

New Echo additions enhance gameplay

The Phantom Echo Nightmare Inferno Rider joins the Echo collection, accompanied by others including Reminiscence: Fenrico, Nightmare variants of Hecate, Tambourinist, Galcio Predator, and Havoc Warrior.

New gear options emerge with the Dream of the Lost Sonata Effect, which provides Critical Rate improvements and Echo Skill damage bonuses when Resonance Energy runs low.

Current events include The Gifts of Grand Symphony 7-Day Login Event, Phantasma Dreamland Echo leisure activity, Dreaming Deep Solaris Film Festival, Overflowing Picture Book challenge, Deep Sea Survey Photo Collection, and a new Wuthering Exploration expedition in the Border Mountains.
