Adin Ross Vows to Embrace Sobriety

Adin Ross Remains Committed to Kick with "Bigger" Plans on the Horizon

Popular streamer Adin Ross has confirmed his long-term commitment to the Kick streaming platform, putting to rest months of speculation surrounding his future. After a period of absence in 2024 that fueled rumors of a departure, Ross's recent return with a new livestream signals a definitive shift. He's not only back, but he's also hinted at significant future projects.

Ross, known for his high-profile presence and sometimes controversial content, initially joined Kick following a ban from Twitch in 2023. His move, along with other prominent streamers like xQc, significantly boosted Kick's growth. While 2023 saw considerable success, his unexpected absence from Kick in 2024 sparked widespread conjecture, including reports of potential conflicts.

However, a December 21, 2024 livestream with Kick CEO Ed Craven clarified the situation. Ross explicitly stated his intention to remain on Kick, reversing months of speculation. This was further reinforced by a recent tweet assuring fans of his return and long-term commitment. His return to live streaming on the weekend of January 4, 2025, alongside Cuffem, Shaggy, and Konvy, after a 74-day hiatus, solidified this commitment.

Ambitious Future Endeavors

Beyond simply returning, Ross hinted at "something even bigger" on the horizon. While specifics remain undisclosed, many believe this relates to his Brand Risk boxing events. Ross aims to expand these events with Kick's support, a significant undertaking given prior legal challenges with Misfits Boxing in early 2024.

Ross's decision is a positive development for both his fanbase and Kick itself. The platform, fueled by partnerships with top-tier streamers, is aggressively pursuing growth, with co-founder Bijan Tehrani previously stating an ambition to surpass or acquire Twitch – an ambitious but potentially achievable goal given Kick's current momentum.
