Disney Dreamlight Valley: Complete Aladdin Quest Guide and Rewards

Disney Dreamlight Valley's free Tales of Agrabah update brought Aladdin and Princess Jasmine to Dreamlight Valley, letting players welcome them home. This guide covers all of Aladdin's friendship quests and rewards, and how to unlock them.

Aladdin’s Friendship Quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Aladdin's first request upon arrival is a simple one: a photo with the Magic Carpet. Equip the Carpet as a companion from your wardrobe, then snap a selfie to complete the "Carpet Diem" quest, starting your Agrabah adventure.

Good As Gold (Level 2 Friendship)

Level up Aladdin with his favorite gifts to unlock "Good As Gold." Aladdin needs your help casing Scrooge McDuck's shop to test his new security system. First, chat with Scrooge, then photograph his shop, capturing the vault door, both staircases (aim for wide shots to cover multiple requirements), and then chat with Aladdin for the next step. He'll suggest dark, sporty attire; while optional, nightfall (6 p.m. to 6 a.m.) enhances the experience.

Inside the shop, press the large red button (left of the counter) to activate Scrooge's security system. The shop transforms, with lights and buttons controlling their placement. Experiment to navigate downstairs and reach the button without triggering alarms. A suggested sequence: activate the center button, deactivate two upper lights (back right wall), move the spotlight from the left staircase button (using the button above the right staircase), deactivate the remaining upper light (using the left staircase button), then reactivate the center button to deactivate the lower right light. Downstairs, move the front door spotlight (right counter button), deactivate the light above the starting button (left display counter button), press the left counter button, and finally, talk to Aladdin in front of the vault.

Coins will appear; collect all four by gliding and interacting. Give these to Aladdin. More coins escaped into Dreamlight Valley – nine more await. Collect these, then return to Aladdin and Jasmine's house to give him the remaining coins. Finally, take a photo with Aladdin and his newfound gold, then speak to both Aladdin and Scrooge, and finally, talk to Aladdin one last time to complete the quest.

Bring Your Own Carpet (Level 4 Friendship)

Aladdin wants a Dreamlight Magic Carpet. Merlin directs you to the Dreamlight Library for three books: Fabric Enchantment, Carpet Weaving, and Flying Technique (located near the book pile, back right shelf, and left of the desk). Give these to Aladdin. He’ll then send you to Minnie. Gather: 4 Dream Shards, 4 Blue Hydrangeas (Dazzle Beach), 4 Purple Bell Flowers (Forest of Valor), and 25 Fiber (Kristoff’s Stall or crafting). Give these to Aladdin to craft the carpet. Interact with the finished carpet to make it fly, then accept it from Aladdin.

He’ll lead a tour. Equip the Dreamlight Magic Carpet (wardrobe). Glide under the Plaza banner, left to the Forest of Valor, across the forest, right down to Dazzle Beach, right up to Peaceful Meadow, left back to Dazzle Beach, left across the bridge, right to the pier's end. Consult the quest tracker if you get lost. (Note: The carpet functions like other gliders, affected by obstacles.) Talk to Aladdin at the pier to finish the quest.

All That Glitters (Level 7 Friendship)

Aladdin's Level 7 quest, "All That Glitters," involves creating a bouquet for Jasmine. Gather 4 yellow and 6 purple flowers for Aladdin. He'll then reveal he wants a more meaningful gift, leading to a treasure hunt using a scroll from Scrooge. The scroll mentions a mermaid's isle.

Go to Skull Island's raft to Ariel's isle. Find the Golden Sun Piece (upper right peninsula), insert it into the tall rock, and talk to Aladdin about the pillar image. Dig up the box (north of the rock), fish up the pillar piece (golden circles near the raft), and open the nearby barrel. Place the pieces onto the Pillar. Nothing happens. Talk to Aladdin, then take a photo of the Pillar.

Talk to Maui, Ariel, and Rapunzel; they're unhelpful. Return to Ariel's island; Jasmine's there! She explains the rotating Pillar pieces and their clues. Interact with the Golden Sun Piece ("From the tiniest seed, water creates blooms as tall as golden towers"). Rotate the middle piece to show water, the bottom to show a seed, and the top to show a flower. Collect the treasure, give it to Aladdin, and talk to him again to receive the golden tea set and complete the quest.
