Funcom made the announcement on their official website on April 25, detailing a dedicated weekend for the global beta test of Dune: Awakening. Alongside this, they unveiled a captivating new trailer showcasing the game's cinematic cutscenes and story snippets.

The beta test is set to welcome a significant number of new players and, unlike the previous closed betas, will not be under an NDA. This means participants can freely share their experiences and even stream their gameplay online.
