Following the premiere of “Welcome to Derry” on HBO Max on October 26, the streamer has moved up the launch of Episode 2 to align with Halloween.
The new horror series will now debut its second episode early on HBO Max, starting Friday, October 31 at 12:00 AM PT / 3:00 AM ET. It will also broadcast on the HBO channel on Sunday, November 2 at 9:00 PM ET/PT.
The remaining episodes of the eight-part season will continue to air weekly on Sundays on HBO and HBO Max, building toward the season finale on Sunday, December 14.
“Welcome to Derry” is inspired by Stephen King’s IT novel and expands the world established in Andy Muschietti’s IT films. The series is developed for television by Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti, and Jason Fuchs, with Andy Muschietti directing several episodes.
