CD Projekt Red, the studio behind The Witcher 4, has revealed plans to unveil more details about its eagerly awaited RPG this week.
In a social media update today, CD Projekt Red confirmed it will showcase "groundbreaking technology and gameplay mechanics powering The Witcher 4 and future projects" during Epic Games' State of Unreal presentation on June 3.
The keynote begins at 9:30 AM ET tomorrow and will be livestreamed globally.
Last year's State of Unreal featured Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, the Amy Hennig-directed game starring Captain America and Black Panther.
This year's Witcher 4 segment could finally reveal in-game or in-engine footage, moving beyond the cinematic trailer we've seen so far. Might we witness actual gameplay? Tomorrow holds the answer.
Excited to join @UnrealEngine at State of Unreal to demonstrate cutting-edge technology driving The Witcher 4 and future titles.

Notably, CD Projekt hints at technology serving "beyond" just The Witcher 4—could this mean glimpses of future Witcher installments or perhaps Cyberpunk 2, another UE5 project from the studio?
The Witcher 4 marks a new chapter for the franchise, shifting focus to Geralt's adopted daughter Ciri. Last month, Geralt's voice actor Doug Cockle defended the protagonist change, urging critics to revisit the original books.
Stay tuned to IGN tomorrow for the State of Unreal 2025 coverage, including the much-anticipated first look at The Witcher 4's gameplay.
