inZOI has surpassed 1 million copies sold within its first week, according to developer and publisher Krafton. This marks the fastest sales milestone in the South Korean company's history.
The Sims competitor launched in Early Access via Steam on March 28, quickly gaining attention when players discovered they could run over child characters - a feature Krafton later patched out, calling it an "unintended bug."
Despite early controversies, inZOI maintains a 'Very Positive' Steam rating and peaked at 175,000 concurrent Twitch viewers shortly after launch. The game topped Steam's Global Top Sellers list by revenue just 40 minutes post-release.
